Good dance Performance should contain all of the below mentioned points-

 (expression): A medium through which the emotion and the thoughts of the character are transmitted to the audience by use of physical or facial or other gestures/features.

Sentiment: Mood arising as a response to the dancer’s emotions and actions.

melody : A music that co-ordinates with the dance movements and emotions.

Rhythm: Regular repeated pattern of movement/sound/tempo/features to a certain number of beats.

And of-course, tonnes of practice, co-ordination and love with all the head and heart.

Hi, I'm Christopher D'mello a dance choreographer, imo learning k-pop is super fun as it has a variety of hip-hop elements and style. First thing you would need to do is watch a ton of k-pop videos and try to mimic their moves and learn the style from a professional Choreographer which will help you to build strong foundation.
