The easiest way to improve the fluency in any language is to read a variety of books and try to converse as much as possible in that language. For e.g., if you know only very basic English, you start speaking in English with your immediate family and friends who will be patient enough to correct any mistakes you make. Even if they don't it is still all right, because at least you would have overcome your fear of unknown. Side by side, you begin by reading at least one English newspaper daily and look up any word you do not know in the dictionary. Listen to and watch English channels like BBC, Doordarshan's English news, NDTV and such. And above all, do not stop speaking the language whenever you get a chance. Even if you make a mistake and people make fun of you, learn to shrug it off and try again. You can write in to me, if you need any more tips. Wish you good luck..!! read less
