Umesh, sometimes i have great doubts and wonder, am i good enough to teach IELTS and other courses. Obviously, you were not able to achieve that elusive Band 7 in all the modules or 79 in PTE. To this day, i ponder and ruminate as to what i could have done? To this day, i have not found the answer. Thanks anyway, my friend. We may have lost the IELTS battle but i found a life-long friend.

Nadia, your score in IELTS was S-8, L-8,R-8 and 7 in writing. Who was the teacher here, you not me. I am sure i can never achieve that even if i tried, except that i would probably score better than 7 i writing. Band 7 means the candidate is GOOD user of the English language. If you are looking for overall Band 7 then you can score 6 or 6.5 in some modules and 7 or more in others. The total divided by 4 should be 7. That is how you get overall 7. In case of the requisite of Band 7 in all the 4 modulrs, its no brainer.
