IdentityI am currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Political Science at Loreto College. My passion for education and community service has led me to work extensively with children across various age groups and backgrounds. I previously interned as a tutor at Loreto School Entally under the Rainbow Initiative, where I taught underprivileged children from classes 1 to 10 subjects like English, History, Geography, and Political Science. I also introduced them to concepts of women’s empowerment and educated them on laws protecting women in India.
Additionally, I have volunteered with NSS (National Service Scheme) camps, where I traveled to rural areas in West Bengal to teach young children spoken English, aiming to build their communication skills and boost their confidence.
These hands-on teaching experiences have not only enhanced my subject knowledge but also developed my ability to connect with students in meaningful and engaging ways. I regularly prepare weekly worksheets, fun assignments, and memory-based activities tailored to each child’s learning level, ensuring steady academic progress. I believe my background and commitment make me a reliable and effective home tutor who can provide quality educational support to children.
