As it is known that CPI is the measure of effect of price change, be it inflation or deflation, on the cost and standard of living of a particular class of citizens of a particular region; and it is also known that the standard of living of President of India is very high than those of any other citizen of India as the later gets many Government funded facilities and utilities, hence, CPI for urban non-manual employees cannot represent the cost of living of the President of India.
