I am an experienced and qualified ESL teacher with over six years of experience teaching English as an academic subject and General English. I am proud to have aided over five hundred students in overcoming their fear of English as a language and achieve fluency in it. I hold IELTS and spoken English certifications, having received my IELTS certification from the British Council and IDP, and my CELTA certification from Cambridge. I have taught at Saifee Golden Jubilee School and worked at a tuition institution in Kolkata. My company recognised me with an Endeavour Award for being the best trainer.
My journey into teaching English began with my inspiration from a literature teacher during my youth. Throughout my teaching career, I have helped numerous students improve their English language skills and prepare for the IELTS exams. I conduct entirely online classes.
I use various teaching methods in my classes to keep my students engaged and help them achieve their goals. My lesson plans include multiple materials such as PowerPoint presentations, annotations, and whiteboard activities. I also incorporate Cambridge English grammar and vocabulary books and provide notes to my students for their reference. I take a hands-on approach to teaching, ensuring my students actively participate in each lesson. And I aim to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where my students feel confident in learning and using English.
