IdentityI have been teaching for the past 26 years now,was in a school,but going solo now,although I am still in the Managing Committee of the school.I teach students from classes IV till XII,mainly English n also History/Social Science and have been handling students from most reputed schools in Kolkata (St.Xaviers,Modern Hogh School,La Martini er re, St.James,Pratt Memorial,Lakshmipat Singh ana, Birla High for boys n Sushila Birla.This year 2015 I had 4 students passing out with 90+ marks in English n History,out of which both the XII students hv got into St.Xaviers.I have been teaching for the last 26 years and have connections with most of my ex students thru FB n Whatsapp n feel blessed to be loved the way I am till date.I love teaching and bearing rich fruits.I believe in giving my best in order to receive the 'best'.Many of my students r now parents themselves n r in good positions in our society n tht makes me a proud woman today.I am friendly n strict where it needs n try extracting the best from my students n yes,I do succeed.I love my subject n my students n always give my best.I am a good teacher but not a magician,if my student is willing to absorb what I give him/her,I can work wonders.
The reason why I am no longer teaching in a school (just in case,one needs to know),then it is because I love to travel n trot around the globe twice a year (but always during times when my kids r getting into a new class n during the Christmas holidays).I like to always stay ahead of school in studies,so tht by the time school starts it wud be revision for them,till I join back again.I am responsible n the Captain of My Ship n know very well how to steer my ship thru storms.
Lastly,I respect my students n expect good behaviour from them n believe tht working together n inter acting sincerely,the Sky can be the limit.
