Erina Bhattacharjee

For the past 20 years, I have been teaching English and Social Studies to students from Class 1 to 5, helping them build strong language skills, a deeper understanding of concepts, and confidence in expressing themselves. Teaching young learners has always been close to my heart, and my long teaching journey has shaped my approach into one that is both nurturing and effective.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, specializing in English Literature. This academic background has strengthened my command over grammar, reading, and writing, which I bring into my lessons with great focus. One of my biggest strengths is teaching English grammar in a simple, structured, and enjoyable manner so that students build a strong foundation from an early age.

Over the years, I have gained extensive experience working with children of varying learning styles and needs. I always prioritize understanding each student individually and adapting my teaching to what works best for them. I maintain a warm, motherly approach so that children feel comfortable, supported, and emotionally secure in my classes.

I have received positive feedback from both students and parents throughout my career. Their appreciation has encouraged me to continue creating a homely learning environment where children feel confident to ask questions, participate, and express themselves freely. It has always been important to me that students enjoy learning rather than feel pressured by it.

My teaching methodology is interactive, student-friendly, and concept-focused. I encourage active participation, discussions, and expression in every class. At the same time, I strongly believe in traditional learning techniques, so I use pen-and-paper practice to help students reinforce grammar, writing, and comprehension skills effectively.

My lessons are structured with clear objectives, simple explanations, and regular revisions to ensure complete understanding. Whether teaching online or offline, I make sure each session is organized, engaging, and personalized to the needs of every child.

I teach both online and offline, and my goal remains the same in every setting—to create a comfortable, positive, and inspiring learning space for all my students, helping them grow academically and emotionally with confidence.
