Anupam Kanti Chandra Classes

A prominent and well known Kathak Dancer started his dance training at a very early age of 3years.Since then he trained under Smt.Susmita Mishra,Pt.Vijay Shankar,Padmabibhusan Pt. Birju Maharaj,Vidhusi Saswati Sen and Smt.Madhumita Roy in Kathak Dance.
He also trained under Sri Arup Shankar,Smt.Gayatri Chattopadhyay,Late Batu Pan,Late Shambhu Bhattacharya,Sri Drujati Sen,Smt.Kalavati Devi, Smt.Mahua Mukhopadhyaya and Miss Illina in varies types of classical,creative,rabindra and folk dance.
He passed Master degree in Kathak Dance from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh with gold medal.He also passed Bachelor degree from Bangiya Sangeet Parisad.
He also passed B.A. from Calcutta University and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from West Bengal Council for Engineering & Technical Education.
He got many awards from various organisation in dance competition.He performed Dance Programme at Midnapur, Kharagpur,Bankura,Purulia,Jhargram,Bagnan,Chinsuraa,Chandannagar,Uttarpara,amd Kolkata (Rabindra Sandan,Sisir Mancha,Mahajati Sadan,Kala Mandir,Gyan Manch,Gorki Sadan and Birla Sava Ghar).He also performed in Kamani Auditorium-Delhi as a Dancer of Padatik Dance Centre.
Anupam is proud to have work with Smt.Susmita Mishra ji,Pt. Vijay Shankar ji,Pt.Birju Maharaj ji,Vidhusi Saswati Sen,Smt.Madhumita Roy and Smt.Chetna Jalan as a kathak dancer.

GREAT ACHIEVEMENT:-
Performed Dance Drama infront of "Bhagwan Sri Satya Sai Baba"at Prasanti Nilayam in the year 2008 & 2009.
Anupam started his own dance institute ' J & G DANCE CENTRE ',for which he somehow still finds time to attend to his duties as Director.
