Jean M. - KERALA ONLINE TUTOR 4 years' EXP. M.SC.M.ED. PHYSICAL SCIENCESKILLS AI tools , DIGITAL GADGETS

I am an experienced and qualified Physics teacher with over 5 years of teaching experience. I teach Physics to students from Classes 10, 11, and 12 and have worked with students across CBSE, ICSE, and State Board curricula. My focus is on making Physics simple and understandable while helping students develop strong conceptual clarity, effective problem-solving skills, and confidence in the subject.
I completed my Master of Science (M.Sc.) from Mahatma Gandhi University in 2010. I also hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from M.G. University, completed in 2013, and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from M.G. University, completed in 2015. My academic qualifications in Science and Education have helped me develop both strong subject knowledge and effective teaching methodologies.
Over the years, I have worked as a Physics teacher in Government schools in Kerala as well as CBSE schools. I have also provided home tuition and online classes to students with different levels of understanding. These experiences have helped me understand the challenges students may face while learning Physics and develop teaching methods that make difficult topics easier to approach.
My teaching focuses strongly on conceptual understanding. I break complex Physics topics into simpler parts and explain them step by step using examples that students can relate to. I believe that understanding the principles behind a concept is essential before moving towards numerical problems and advanced applications, so I give students sufficient time to understand the fundamentals.
I also place strong emphasis on problem-solving skills. I guide students through different types of questions and explain how to identify the relevant concepts, choose the appropriate approach, and work through a problem systematically. Regular practice, revision, and doubt clearing are an important part of my classes, helping students become more comfortable and confident while solving Physics problems.
I am passionate about teaching and aim to create a positive and engaging learning environment. I understand that students have different learning speeds and requirements, so I adapt my explanations and pace accordingly. I encourage students to ask questions and participate actively during lessons, creating a comfortable environment where they can discuss their difficulties without hesitation.
I follow structured lesson plans and conduct interactive sessions based on the student's syllabus and learning requirements. I use PPT presentations and a whiteboard to explain concepts, illustrate diagrams, work through numerical problems, and organise important information. I also completed the AI for Teachers Program from Interval Personalized Learning Platform in 2025, which has helped me understand ways to integrate AI tools into teaching and learning. I offer both online and offline classes and strive to help students build a strong foundation in Physics, improve their problem-solving abilities, and approach their academic examinations with greater confidence.
