Speed of light is constant in all mediums:
Reasons: Light belongs to Electromagnetic portion of the wave spectrum. Light does not require any material medium for their propagation. Hence they are also called Non-mechanical Waves. Therefore light is not affected by any kind of variations of air particles. Therefore light speed remains constant in all mediums.

2) In microcontroller all peripherals such as RAM ROM TIMERS/COUNTERS are all embedded (in built) under single chip. There is no need to connect externally.
3) Speed of microcontroller is high since it takes less time to form communication between all the peripherals since they all are in built under single chip.
4) Microcontrollers consumes less power since it has all components under one chip.
5) Propagation delay is minimised.
6) They are used in washing machines, mobile phones etc.\

2) In microprocessor all the components like RAM ROM TIMERS/COUNTERS have to be interfaced externally by using buses( cables).
3) Microprocessors are comparatively slower than microcontroller since in microprocessor the components have to be interfaced externally.
