Why do all companies ask for a minimum of 2 or 3 years of experience in jobs for a Java developer? How will freshers get experience if no one is willing to provide a job?

When companies hire a developer he doesn't know git, maven, spring, unix and so many other things which are must for a java developer. They expect company to give training but refuse to acknowledge even if it was not covered that well in college ultimately its the student's responcibility to spend time learning it.Companies practically calculate the time for you to be productive as a fresher it will be few months not all companies can afford those many month salary till a dev is productive.
