This byte stream can later be deserialized, meaning it can be used to recreate the original object with the same state as the original object. In Java, serialization is achieved by implementing the Serializable interface. This interface doesn't have any methods; it simply acts as a marker, indicating that the objects of the class implementing it can be serialized. read less
