In fact, JavaScript is faster than most interpreted languages because the JITs for it are quite good.Both languages have their own time and place. C++ was definitely harder to learn for multiple reasons. First off, it was the first programming language I learned. C++ is way more powerful and versatile than JS. You can control nearly every aspect of your computer’s processor and memory using C++. A key thing about C++ is understanding memory usage / object storage which gets into pointers. read less
