When you start learning language , you should not compare it with other language , every language has its advantages and disadvantages . it depends upon the project domain for what you are using it. Computer langaues are just like speaking languages , you can not say English is better that hindi or German, same way java and Python has their own advantages. For Desktop app, WebApp java looks better , for cloud computing , data analysis you can decide python as better option. read less
