Definitely simple,easy and useful programming language. Used for both client side and sever side coding also.

Dear Your question is too generic. Since java script is client side programming language.So If you code other client side scripting language like VB script you would be comfortable,But in server side programming like J2EE,PHP you will feel challenges.
