if you want to learn the basic ot will take 6 to 8 months.

Japanese language tutor N3 JLPT qualified who teach N5 & N4

Japanese language have five levels- N5, N4, N3, N2, N1. Very basic level is N5 and Advanced is N1. You need to clear till N2 to be fluent in japanese. Each level take 6 months or more to have better understanding of the concept. Rest depends on person's callibre and devotion.
