Since I was a child, I have found that helping my juniors and fellow batch mates with their studies has always given me a sense of joy. Teaching others is an art that has come naturally to me. It is also one which provides me with innate sense of happiness.
Even though I am currently majoring in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from one of the best institutes of my country, I have a very strong passion for Mathematics. Maths as a subject, is very logical and methodical and that is something which appeals to the inner logician in me. I am very comfortable with the most important subjects of the discipline. When in today's world, students focus more on cramming up the formula and shortcut methods, I follow the approach of methodical teaching, that is, breaking the concept in small steps and analyse each step for better understanding, and then develop the shortcut that best suits the student.
I have taught primary school children for 6 months and been an online tutor for 2 years. I have been able to develop my own strategies and techniques of teaching.
I have recently revised the topics of Indian history and politics to prepare from basics, for competitive exams, thus making me a good teacher of Social Science subjects upto 10th grade.
Being an avid reader and a proficient writer, I am well versed with English language, both written and verbal. One of my major strengths is communication. It makes me confident that I will be able to put students at ease while teaching.
