Rachana, its imperative to develop a skill-set and keep upgrading it and plan your complete career step by step. You have completed M.C.A and worked as a developer which is a great start. You have some wonderful options but the best career will be the one you enjoy and get paid well. So your options can be : 1. Digital Marketing - It is the future of marketing & advertisement & all major companies have a huge budget allocated for it. 2. Cyber Security - As the future becomes digitized with everything happening online, cyber security will be one of the highest paying jobs. 3. Investment Banking - This will be a slight shift from your original line of study but since India is the world’s hottest market right now, it is definitely worth it. 4. Business Consultant - Its can be an awesome choice because you have M.C.A (IT & Software) knowledge and if you can combine it with business intelligence , you can simply demand the salary of your choice and companies will be happy to pay it and you will love the challenge of making use of your degree for optimum company profit. 5. Mobile Apps Development - Almost everything will be done from mobile apps and thus its the future . 6. C.I.S.A. - This is the mother of all courses . With your IT background if you can clear it , you get hired directly at the highest levels in any government, corporate or private firm. Wish you luck for your future endeavors!!! read less
