If you want a pause tell the interviewer that you need a moment to think Notifying the interviewer is important so that they understand what you stopped You can take you time to answers , don't rush to answer them quickly Take your time tell them just give me a moment to think and then answer Don't rush to answer as sometimes you can wrongly answer them Once you answer don't change it ,if you are changing the answers it means that you are not confident and you'll loose the impression their So take time and answer ,tell them when u need long time to think it's not all a problem Problem comes when you don't tell them And keep the guessing read less
