Hi Vinay on an average a student take 3-5 months to learn basics (2 Classes/Week) and after 6 months he can play songs of choice with little or no assistance.

If interested in staff notation then the student will be taught according to staff notation theory. B. If not interested to learn through staff notation then we will directly go to chord theory. Again chord theory will take around 6 months. And further we will be teaching according to the student's interest towards different genres (eg: pop, rock, classical). read less

Is it possible to learn guitar from the internet and how much time it will take?
Yes. It is possible to learn from Internet. But I must say a teacher is pretty much required in the beginning because if you learn a wrong technique in the beginning then it becomes very difficult to unlearn then. Hope it helps. Best of Luck dear.
