Hi Vinay on an average a student take 3-5 months to learn basics (2 Classes/Week) and after 6 months he can play songs of choice with little or no assistance.

If the individual is a beginner then he/she will take minimum 6 months to learn basic chords and scales. After learning this then there are two ways - A. If interested in staff notation then the student will be taught according to staff notation theory. B. If not interested to learn through staff notation then we will directly go to chord theory. Again chord theory will take around 6 months. And further we will be teaching according to the student's interest towards different genres (eg: pop, rock, classical). read less

Hi, I want to learn to play the violin, and I am not sure which violin to go for as a beginner. I don't have any local shop nearby, so I probably would have to order online. Can someone help with which violin I should buy?
You should always go to the store and check out yourself by playing on different acoustic instruments. Even if they look the same, the sound won't! Play by yourself and pick the one you like.
