"Why measurement of unit is required?" in   Tuition/Class IX-X Tuition

When we quantify, what we are observing, then such an observation is a science or knowledge. However, without the quantification of an observation, thought is simply a process of gaining knowledge, but has yet to reach a stage, to be called a 'science'. Hence, to call a subject 'science', the thought process ultimately has to be quantified suitably, using appropriate units of measurement.

"Why per capita income is used to measure the economy of a country?" in   Tuition/Class IX-X Tuition, Tuition/Class IX-X Tuition/Social science

per capita income = Real National Income/ Total population If the rate of population surpasses the rate of national income growth, then per capita national income will fall. Similarly if both national product and population grow at the same rate, per capita national product will remain constant. This is not economic development. Therefore it is not rise in real national income but rise in real per capita income which may be taken as an indicator of development. Hence there is the urgent needs to check the growth rate of population and to accelerate the rate of national growth, particularly in underdeveloped countries so that the real per capita income will rise.

"In Indian population the greater number of poor families resides in rural areas than urban areas. Difference between rural and urban poor?" in   Tuition/Class IX-X Tuition, Tuition/Class IX-X Tuition/Social science

The Income Tax Department administers a number of Direct Tax Acts, namely, the Income Tax Act 1961, the Wealth Tax Act 1957, the Gift Tax Act 1958, Interest Tax Act 1974, Securities Transaction Tax Act 2004, Banking Cash Transaction Tax Act 2005 and Fringe Benefit Tax Act 2004, etc. There is a tremendous amount of responsibility and an IT officer deals with all kinds of individuals and businesses.
