1. There are two versions of the IELTS test -- Academic or General Training. How students can choose the right option?
IELTS Academic is for students who are looking to study in universities at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
IELTS General is for people who are looking at to emigrate to an English-speaking country.
2. How IELTS candidates can score higher in the exam?
The candidates who are looking at to ace the exam, we recommended them to prepare smartly & work hard towards the desired results.
Before going in for the exam take up a mock exam and identify the sections where you need improvement, then devise your study plan specifically targeting those weak areas. There is plenty of content available online for each section, work toward mastering those sections.
In fact, MeetUniv.com has a huge repository of curated IELTS videos, which help you focus on particular sections.
3. What are the challenges students face in the IELTS listening section? Suggest few tips to overcome it.
Yes, a lot of non-native English speakers find this section difficult, however one must note that the accent used in the section is very natural and not an artificial one. So one must try and get used to the accent.
“Practice” is what I would recommend as the basic & foremost tip. There is absolutely no other alternative than to practice. As I mentioned above with loads of free content available, it makes more sense to listen to & master those sections.
One thing which I have seen working for my students is load a lot of English Podcasts onto their smartphones or mp3 & listen to them while going back to home from college / study. This really helps.
4. What are the advantages of taking online IELTS program? How it is different from the regular coaching program?

- Give a mock exam, understand your strengthens & weakness
- Once those are identified approach each section individually to master those weaknesses
