With regards to pay scale,IBPS clerk gets anywhere between INR 21000 to 24000 per month at the start whereas IBPS po is bound to get anywhere between 38000 to 42000 per month. As far as the syllabus is concerned, the prelims doesn't have much difference except for the fact that po exams doesn't have much straight forward questions.For the mains,po has additional section of English essay writing and data interpretation. IBPS clerk have a probation period if 6 months whereas po has to serve 2 years of probation. read less
