My aim is to build on my EFL experience and explore my passion for training/teaching in a variety of settings. Armed with the knowledge and expertise that I have gained through my formal education and experience, I aim to help students gain a true understanding of the richness and complexity of the English language and build confidence in their communication skills. Education and Training: • A Masters Degree in English from Panjab University, Chandigarh • A Bachelors Degree in Arts (English, Psychology, Economics and Sociology) from Panjab University, Chandigarh • 120 Hour TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Certification from ITTT • Teaching Business English Certification from ITTT Training Experience: • Currently working at Princeton Review, Hyderabad for the past 6 years ( 2011 – Till Date) as ELP (English language Program) Trainer for TOEFL and IELTS • Participants range from aspiring professionals to experts in various fields, who plan to go abroad for higher education or want to immigrate. My association with my current organization as an ELP faculty has fetched me recognition like “Manya Guru” and consistent above par rating from students. Training Methodology: I practice Communicative language teaching (CLT) methodology in the classroom or the communicative approach to language teaching which emphasizes interaction as both the means and the ultimate goal of study. My keen interest in human psychology helps me understand and address the diverse learning needs with in a group and address them within the given parameters of time and academic resources, focusing on the best possible outcomes. This, in particular, I feel contributes to my effectiveness in communicating with learners.

I practice Communicative language teaching (CLT) methodology in the classroom or the communicative approach to language teaching which emphasizes interaction as both the means and the ultimate goal of study. CLT often takes the form of pair and group work requiring negotiation and cooperation between learners, fluency-based activities that encourage learners to develop their confidence, role-plays where students practice and develop language functions, as well as appropriate use of grammar and pronunciation-based activities.
