I believe in an integrated approach to education where creativity and logic work hand-in-hand. My teaching method goes beyond standard rote learning; I focus on making every subject—from core academics to expressive arts—engaging and relatable through hands-on experiences. By blending traditional knowledge with creative workshops, I help students develop critical thinking and a unique personal voice. Whether we are exploring complex theories or diving into a mandala painting session, my goal is to foster a supportive environment where curiosity thrives and every learner feels empowered to master new skills with confidence.

My Approach and Focus Areas 1. Croquis Development I guide you through constructing the "10-head" fashion figure. We focus on establishing the line of action—the essential curve that dictates the pose—before building anatomical volume. I help you refine the skeletal landmarks (shoulders, waist, hips) to create consistent, stylized templates that serve as a strong base for your designs. 2. Fashion Design Sketches I treat these as visual communication tools. Whether you are sketching a collection or a one-off piece, I help you emphasize: Silhouette Dynamics: Defining clear, intentional shapes that establish your design's identity. Detail Resolution: Techniques for illustrating complex elements like gathers, pleats, and structural seams so they remain legible and purposeful on the page. Professional Documentation: Advising on how to integrate technical annotations and callouts to make your sketches transition seamlessly from concept to development. 3. Dress Sketching on Figure This is where we focus on the interaction between fabric and form. I teach: Fabric Behavior: How to illustrate the "break" of a garment—where fabric pulls, bunches, or hangs based on its weight and texture. Volume and Gravity: Using negative space to create a 3D effect, ensuring garments look worn rather than drawn "on top" of the figure. Adding Movement: Techniques for capturing kinetic energy in fabric, making your sketches appear dynamic rather than static.

Teaching Experience in detail in Class 12 Tuition

As your teacher, I’m excited to guide you through the Cambridge International AS & A Level Art & Design (9479) syllabus. This course is designed to help you build a personal artistic style, sharpen your technical skills, and develop a critical, reflective practice. What We Will Cover We will explore one or more of these four areas of study, tailored to your interests: Fine Art: Painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, texture art, abstract art, different art techniques, mixed media, or experimental construction.  Graphic Communication: Illustration, packaging, advertising, branding, typography, or signage.  Three-Dimensional Design: ceramics, product, interior, environmental, and jewellery/fashion accessories.  Textiles and Fashion: Fashion design/illustration, costume design, constructed textiles, screen printing, batik, or surface pattern.   Your Required Work Depending on your chosen route, you will complete the following: Component 1 (Coursework): You will research, develop, and realize a project based on a theme. This includes a portfolio showing your creative process and a final outcome presented on one sheet of A2.  Component 2 (Externally Set Assignment): You will select a starting point from an exam paper. You will create supporting studies during a preparation period, followed by a 15-hour supervised test to produce your final outcome.  Component 3 (Personal Investigation - A Level only): This is an in-depth, independent study. You will investigate a theme personal to you, producing both practical work and a 1000–1500 word written analysis as an integrated submission.  Throughout this journey, I will help you record observations, explore new materials, develop ideas through research, and present a coherent, personal response.
