Ask a Question
Q=mC?T
Q= thermal energy or heat(J or KJ)
m=mass(g or kg)
C= specific heat capacity
?T=change in temperature( K or °C)
Eg: specific heat of silicon is 703 J/Kg°C
How much energy is needed to raise the temperature of a 7 kg chunk of silicon by 10°C.
Solution:
Q= 7 kg*( 703J/kg°c)*10°c=49210J.

A chemical formula of a compound is symbolic representation of its composition.
A chemical formula of a compound shows its constituent elements and the number of atoms of each combining element.
For eg: The chemical formula of hydrogen sulphide if H2S.it indicates that in hydrogen sulphide two hydrogen atoms and one sulphur atom are chemically united..

Larger angle X
Smaller angle Y
We have X+Y=180..(1)
larger angle exceeds thrice smaller by 20
∴X=3Y+20..(2)
Solving (1)&(2)
X+Y=180
X-3Y=20
4Y=160⇒Y=40... smaller angle
∴larger angle X=140

x3+ px2 +qx+2
α+β+γ=-p...(1)
αβ+βγ+γα=q...(2)
αγβ=-2..(3)
αβ+1=0(given)
From eq(3)..γ=2
2p+q+5=-2(α+β+γ)+(αβ+βγ+γα)+5
=-2(α+β+2)+(-1+2β+2α)+5
=0
∴2p+q+5=0.
