Bommena Srinivasa Rao

I teach Mathematics to students from Class 6 to Class 10, with a strong focus on building clear fundamentals and developing confidence in the subject. With 15 years of teaching experience, I have worked with students at different learning levels and understand that every student requires a slightly different approach. My aim is to make Mathematics easier to understand by breaking down concepts into simple, logical steps.

My academic background includes a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, which has given me a strong foundation in mathematics, technical concepts, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. I also worked as an ITI Instructor from 1992 to 1995, where I trained students in technical subjects. This early teaching experience helped me understand the importance of explaining concepts clearly and connecting theoretical knowledge with practical applications.

Alongside my teaching experience, I have around 30 years of experience in industrial engineering from 1995 to 2026. Working in the engineering industry has strengthened my analytical and problem-solving abilities and given me extensive exposure to practical applications of mathematical and technical concepts. I bring this practical perspective into my teaching wherever it can help students understand why a concept works rather than simply memorising formulas or procedures.

My teaching methodology is structured and student-focused. I plan lessons according to the student's learning requirements and place strong emphasis on concept clarity before moving on to more advanced problems. I encourage students to ask questions, participate in discussions, and work through problems themselves. Regular practice is an important part of my classes because it helps students identify their mistakes, improve their accuracy, and gradually develop confidence.

I use interactive problem-solving techniques and practical examples to make lessons more engaging and meaningful. Wherever appropriate, I use PPT presentations and a whiteboard to explain concepts, work through mathematical problems step by step, and visually demonstrate important ideas. I believe that students learn Mathematics better when they can see the logic behind a solution and understand each stage of the problem-solving process.

My classes are particularly focused on helping students strengthen their fundamentals, improve their analytical thinking, and develop effective problem-solving skills. I pay attention to areas where a student is struggling and adapt my explanations and practice accordingly. Rather than focusing only on completing the syllabus, I work towards ensuring that students understand the underlying concepts and are able to apply them independently.

With my combination of teaching experience, technical education, and extensive industrial engineering experience, I bring a practical and analytical approach to Mathematics teaching. I aim to create a learning environment where students can approach problems with confidence, learn from their mistakes, and steadily improve their academic performance. My goal is to help every student develop a strong mathematical foundation that supports them throughout their academic journey.
