Overview

I am an online educator. I teach physics to students preparing for CBSE, ISC, IBDP/MYP and IGCSE exams. I also prepare students for SAT subject test, AP-C, NIOS and various other competitive exams.
I have chosen to teach, as it comprehensively addresses my need to utilize my talent to contribute to the making of better society. Students like my knack for explaining complex concepts using practical examples. Through my classes, I try to instill a sense of wonder and the quest to seek answers, in my students, which I believe should be the aim of every education model.
It's part of my endeavour to bring back the joy of learning in the system again. I am currently offering this way of studying as a teacher, mentor or counsellor. My intention is to make the classes not based on lectures or monologues but on interactions. Students oriented pedagogy is a cornerstone of my teaching methodology. It is an effort to bring back the real essence of education, where we don't just give ready-made bookish answers but try to learn to ask the right questions and the answers erupt out of meaningful discussions.

"I got in touch with Amanjeet Sir towards the ending of class 9th when I was facing difficulty in quite a few topics in Physics, and have known him ever since. His passion towards his subject and the methodology adopted by him to make the subject matter interesting is something commendable. Had it not been for his style of teaching, I would never have managed to become confident in Physics as a subject and crack an exam like the JEE Advanced. I really can’t thank him enough for that ☺️. "I started taking Amanjeet sir's tuition two months after class 12 started. At that time, I was quite unhappy with the way I was studying Physics. I didn't have a set method of studying Physics, I used to try and imbibe information from multiple books very haphazardly. Consequently, my scores in Physics used to be much lower than my scores in any other subject. Amanjeet sir taught me the importance of taking my own notes and regularly revising different topics. Moreover, he would always be receptive towards my problems. It's because of him that I was able to score 95% in Physics even though the paper was notoriously difficult. "
