Both acoustic and electric guitar have their unique advantages and appeal, so the choice depends on your preferences and goals.

If you're interested in playing acoustic music or singer-songwriter genres, starting with an acoustic guitar might be more suitable. Acoustic guitars offer a simpler setup, as you don't need to worry about amplifiers or effects pedals. They also help build finger strength due to their thicker strings and higher action, which can be beneficial in the long run.

On the other hand, if your interests lie in rock, metal, or other electric guitar-centric genres, starting with an electric guitar might be more fitting. Electric guitars typically have thinner strings and lower action, making them easier to play, especially for beginners. Additionally, you have a wider range of sounds to explore with the use of amplifiers and effects pedals, which can be inspiring and motivating.

Acoustic guitars are hard to learn for pressing the strings on acoustic guitar frets are a little painful to the tips of the fingers and also the best way to start with. Electric guitar strings are easy and need less pressure to press but after you go to the acoustic guitar, it'll become difficult to play propely.
