I learnt classical guitarist, can I directly play electric guitar or should I take care of something?

Initially you might find it difficult to play with the plectrum however you will get used to it. Just find a good teacher and also ensure you pick up a decent electric guitar. You would also need an amplifier along with the electric guitar. You may buy a Processor/effects pedal as you get better with playing. read less

Well if you playing classical guitar then it's not a big deal actually to play an electric guitar, but you.need to know the technique and amount of force need to apply while handling an electric guitar. Since an electric guitar need a very low amount of force to produce sound.

Your q not v clear. If you are playing the classical pieces and now interested to play electric solos as well, you will only have to practise them using plectrum on electric guitar.
