Nothing can beat the sound of a guitar acoustically recorded through a good quality mic. Get an epiphone aj200 it's the cheapest branded guitar with a solid spruce top (solid top guitars sound better compared to the laminated top models). It also has an advanced jumbo shape so you get a fuller sound and is way too much worth for it's price. It's 13-14k and it sounds amazing for it's price. Don't fall for the pickup. An acoustic guitar is always about the wood material used in the guitar first. read less

My personal opinion is that Ibanez acoustics are not the best, Yamaha's acoustics sound better and are easier to play on. If you trawl through acoustic guitar forums, you're likely to hear the same things from acoustic players from all parts of the world. If you do decide to go with Ibanez, please make sure that the action (distance between string and fret — the lines on the neck of the guitar) is not too high. On Ibanez acoustics, I find that the saddle needs to be filed down to achieve low action (saddle is the white plastic on the body where the strings end). The filing of saddles and truss rod adjustment is a routine affair, don't hesitate to ask the store assistants to help you set up your guitar for low action. Have fun! read less

If you want to spent 15.5k on acoustic guitar. I would suggest you to find a Martin or Taylor guitar. (used or unused) They are the best in the industry.

Should I stick to one kind of music like rock, jazz etc. and play Guitar or play all kinds of songs?
Well, to be a versatile musician, you need to try a hand at all forms. But then play what makes you comfortable. Like if you see slash, he's a rock guitarist but then he's played blues with bb king as well. I hope this helps
