Off course you can,but warning it will never sound like an acoustic guitar because acoustic guitar sound best way is with a microphone pointed at the guitar soundhole.

However, this connection requires something called an impedance match. This should not really be a problem as computer microphone jack is high impedance and so are guitar pickups. To be safe buy a cheap usb sound card (under a few hundred rupees ) and try on it first. read less
