At college, I used to work at a NGO Astitva, which aimed at making kids from economically weaker sections, proficient enough to join Jawahar Navodaya schools. These kids were extremely weak with their basics and we were able to have a very fruitful learning experience. Several of my students qualified the Navodaya entrance exams. I also took English lessons of one of my professor' child, who was preparing for 10th board exams.
