Rather than searching for a local teacher I would highly recommend to learn it by the best teachers online who would interrogate your current level and give personal classes in accordance with your current level and modify them properly . For example some people don't even know that how alphabet are pronounce and how to read easy textbook English so they need to be taught from very beginning , others can read sentences but find it hard to understand ,also when they speak there are errors in verbs and tenses so they need to be taught differently . I myself teaches basic to advance proficiency ( spoken and written) of refined English language within 60 days . One to one personal classes only 50 rupees per hour read less
