Every company that runs their server on the cloud needs a Linux admin/engineer. Linux is the most wanted OS in the cloud platform than windows. If he has good knowledge in Linux SSH, then he is good to go with this as a fresher. Although! Just training wouldn't help him much. He may have some valid mid-level IT certifications to beat the competitors. Ask him to get the "CompTIA Linux+" certification.
