Is it hard to live in Berlin without speaking German?

It is not hard as berlin is very multicultural state but it would very good to have basic knowledge of german.

Yes, it could be hard because the local language is German only. Now no entry to any European country without the knowledge of German at least A1 if you plan to spend more than a year. For tourist visas not sure. please check further on this.

Not hard, just it would be difficult to make new friends and get a part time job, however if your english is good, they are always looking for english tutors.
