Hi, The speaking part won't be hard. As an Indian, you'll have mastered nearly all of the sounds in our own language that also occur in German. Hi, The speaking part won't be hard. As an Indian, you'll have mastered nearly all of the sounds in our own language that also occur in German. So it's just putting in the time and effort to get the German pronunciation right. The listening part is harder, however, practice will improve it.The writing and reading part is clearly the hardest compared to the above. You'll have to build up vocabulary (not always easy in any language) and get to grips with the grammar (which may or may not be vastly different from your own language). Again, if you take a relaxed attitude about making mistakes, that too won't be a problem over time. Altogether then, I'd say German won't be hard for an Indian compared with some other languages. I am planning to take up German language classes to apply for jobs in Germany. I am a little confused due to the following factors: 1. How effective is online training? 2. I consulted many institutes .each of them offer different duration of course for same certification. I want to know how many hours of classes are required on an average to do a1 certification for a beginner.
Hi Swati A1 certification requires 45 hours of training (including the Goethe exam training). Online training is as effective as classroom training. It works comparatively smoothly over skype. Regards Shivani

depends if you take online classes as an individuval it can range fro 500-1000 Rs per hour
