Hi, The speaking part won't be hard. As an Indian, you'll have mastered nearly all of the sounds in our own language that also occur in German. So it's just putting in the time and effort to get the German pronunciation right. The listening part is harder, however, practice will improve it.The writing and reading part is clearly the hardest compared to the above. You'll have to build up vocabulary (not always easy in any language) and get to grips with the grammar (which may or may not be vastly different from your own language). Again, if you take a relaxed attitude about making mistakes, that too won't be a problem over time. Altogether then, I'd say German won't be hard for an Indian compared with some other languages.
