First of all, the German language is not considered a mixed language because mixed languages often have simplified grammar. But, when it comes to German, as a language, grammar is much more complex and has a long history of rich culture and vocabulary. However, one can’t deny the fact that there are some features which German has in common with the Balto-Slavic languages. To explain it precisely, there are mainly two haplogroups (genes, or DNA type in ordinary language) namely R1a and R1b. Primarily, the modern German belong to R1b, whereas the Slavs belong to R1a. There were several ways in which these groups came to western Europe. R1b came through Gibraltar to the Perinean Peninsula and R1a - from Anatolia to the Carpathian Mountains. Although it is difficult to answer as they took different paths, the words might have derived from different languages as well. It is said that German, modern Russian and Latvian words are the closest to Sanskrit words. It is also believed that Germans borrowed their language from eastern neighbours tribes. Can A1 German level be completed by studying at home, all by yourself?
Yes it is possible. But no one can predict how long it might take. With the guidance of a tutor, it would be possible within 4 to 6 weeks or 8 weeks

Will it be easy to master German pronunciation?
Yes. It is a language not a rocket science. If enough practice is done you can master it but obviously it is not your mother tongue so the accent will be a bit different.

Usually, demo classes are free, but some tutors do charge for demo classes. In this case, as you have paid your tutor, I would recommend you to speak to your tutor and schedule a demo class asap and if they.dont agree, ask them to give you a refund.
