An inductor (L), and a capacitor (C), a resistor (R), connected in series or in parallel make electrical circuit. The name of the circuit is derived from the letters that are used to denote the constituent components of this circuit.

L is for Inductor. C is Capacitor and R is Resistance. So any Circuit having these three elements is called LCR circuit.
