First read syllabus of GATE exam for your branch, then learn basic fundamentals, note down almost all formulae that you come across, daily have a glance at these formulae and important points, purchase any objective questions book of reputed author like khurmi, jain, or ACE or MADE EASY material, and practice them on daily basis, and attempt as many as test series as possible, and solve last 10 years(minimum) previous GATE papers. and most important practice and learn any subject till you are confident in that subject. Step 1 : Know about the GATE Examination The GATE Exam is a single paper online examination of three hours, with 65 questions carrying a total of 100 marks. The question paper will consist of both multiple choice questions and numerical answer type questions.
