I am adding few more things to Usman's response --> If you are starting from zero, solve EDC and analog bits from RK Kanodia. Then you can follow below suggestions. As we know, to secret to crack GATE is to solve n number of problems. Read chapter by chapter. After each topic keep having a look at end of chapter problems. #2 donald a neaman for edc; Solve back side problems of first 5-6 chapter of yellow pad. Problems are given at the end of the book. #3 made easy publication analog circuits by a. rajkumar , Sedra and smith. Read only gate syllabus. Solve problems given at the end of each chapter. Its enough to solve small size problems in that for GATE exam. Do not waste time on very lengthy problems given. After solving 10 problems, you can check answer in the solution manual, you can find on 4shared.net #4 signal system by oppenheim. --> solve problems at end of the chapter. Solution manual is available on net. But remember, solve 10 problems by your own. Then only have a look at manual. #5 schawm series for emt---> best among #6 b.p lathi for communication; back side problems of Simon Haykins.. Solution manual will be available on net. Also go through Schaum series communctations. #7 tocci for digital; ( I prepared from Morris Mano back side problems. Solved all previous year digital electronics questions from EE and Insturmentation papers along with EC. You will find tricky problems from EE papers too) # 8 b.s manke for control. + ACE engineering academy control systems coaching notes. They tell all kind of shortcuts. # 9 sadiku for networks. Network theory--> Hayt and Kimmerly end of chapter problems. Target atleast first 6-7 chapters. Follow only GATE syllabus. That should be enough. read less
