0GATE is one of the most important exam an engineering student can aspire of attempting.Today almost all the PSUs recruit through GATE apart from M.Tech admissions.Ideal time required for GATE preperation is 7-9 months.Strategy should be as follows:
1) Start your preperation after 3rd year/4th year.
2) Study according to syllabus.
3) Follow notes of standard coaching institute if you don't have good notes of engineering days (Made easy or Ace engineering).
4) If you have less time just solve previous year GATE paper in detailed way.Please solve multiple times.
5) Although the above steps is known to all, people fail to follow it as they don't believe it can get them good rank.
6) Daily study for 4 hrs is more than enough for cracking this exam.
