I started getting involved with music from my early childhood as i was brought up in an environment where i was taught to hold my guitar even before i could hold my pencil. Starting with an acoustic guitar, i slowly graduated myself to classical & electric guitar with the endless blessings of all my teachers, & efforts of my self learning in the advanced stage. Performing, obviously had started like all other kids in school days, friend's bands & so on. Techniques,Skill & Musicality is all i have achieved with time. I did my certification in Classical guitar from Trinity College London and Rock guitar from Rockschool London. I have an experience of 9 years as a Guitar Instructor & i have taught students of 4 to 70 years of age group,with variety of learning requirements and coming from diverse background like School/College students, Govt. officials, Corporate Profesionals, Defence officials, CEO's of Reputed companies and so on. So far i've taught around 300-400 students (Including Individual and Group classes). As an instructor, i believe, learning guitar is learning to fuse balance between technicality and musicality. With time developing the craft of our instrument and musical ability is of paramount importance towards becoming a good Guitar Player. My musical journey includes 17 years of Indian Classical vocal training and 2 years of Western vocal training, mentored by some of the finest instructors from prestigious institutions. I’ve also performed on Akash Bani Bhavan for 5 years and freelanced as a playback singer across 30 countries. This extensive experience allows me to provide insights that enhance not only vocal skills but also personal growth. Teaching Philosophy In my classes, I focus on creating a conversational and engaging environment, which helps build strong relationships with my students. I guide them through the basics of vocal training, addressing any questions they may have and ensuring they grasp the concepts thoroughly. Training is my passion. Apart from music I am also a Training & Development Manager of Tata Consultancy Services due to my capabilities of training so I have mastered various techniques to bring out the best out of my students. Alongside Indian Classical music I can also train studio techniques to help my students record songs and become a professional playback singer. I am also a social media influencer which allows me to help my students build a career in the digital industry. To summarise, my students will have a wonderful training journey with me due to some of my personal attributes like compassion, patience, sense of humor, leadership abilities and philosophical ideas. I had the opportunity to learn different styles of vocal music like Khayal, Thumri, Dhrupad, Ghazal from nationally reputed musicians and gurus. My revered gurus are Pt. Sukhendu Goswami (Khayal), Pt. Abhay Narayan Mullick (Dhrupad), Vidushi Purnima Chaudhury (Thumri), and Pt. Govardhan Mishra (Thumri). I received Senior Fellowship from the Department of Culture, Government of India under the fellowship scheme 'Fellowship for Outstanding Musicians'. I have successfully trained good number students in India, in the US and European countries. My students enjoyed learning with me.
