I teach vocal music, and for the past 10 years, I have been dedicated to training students in developing their voice, technique, and musical expression. Music has always been a central part of my life, and teaching allows me to share that passion with learners of all ages. Whether a student is just beginning or already experienced, I enjoy guiding them through each stage of their musical journey. I hold an M. Com degree, and alongside my academic background, I have undergone extensive training in Carnatic music. Though I do not hold a formal certification, my training covers the full range of Carnatic music—from the basics to intermediate and advanced levels. This training has enabled me to understand the depth, discipline, and beauty of classical vocal music, and it forms the foundation of my teaching approach. Over the past decade, I have had the privilege of teaching students with different voices, learning styles, and musical goals. I have helped beginners build a solid foundation in swaras, shruti alignment, and basic exercises. For intermediate students, I focus on improving voice texture, control, and song rendition. With advanced learners, I work on improvisation, manodharma, and stage presentation. Watching students evolve through these stages is incredibly rewarding. My students have performed at various events, annual functions, and competitions, and their success remains my biggest achievement as a teacher. I strongly believe that every student has a unique voice, and my teaching aims to nurture that individuality while strengthening technical skills. Their growth, confidence, and joy in singing motivate me to teach with even greater dedication. I offer both online and offline classes, giving students the flexibility to choose the format that suits them best. My teaching style is patient, structured, and personalized. I make sure that every student understands the theory behind what they sing, practices with discipline, and gradually builds both skill and confidence. Each session is planned with clear learning goals, including exercises, lessons, and regular feedback. Whether a student wants to learn for passion, cultural grounding, performance, or personal growth, I ensure they receive the right guidance and consistent support. My aim is to help them connect deeply with music and enjoy the lifelong journey of learning and singing.
