At what age one should start learning flute? Is it possible for my 6 year old daughter to learn this instrument?

Yes, of course. but till there is a question of her musical ability, concentration span and mental growth according to her age. she needs a proper musical assessment, i think then you can decide flute classes for her is suitable or not. regards, avijit

Best to do from 7 or 8. Sometimes at 6 years when they start, the fingering is not so easy for the hands, and so the child may get frustrated. If interested in music the child can be made to learn some vocal, or bhajans, etc., which will help when they start an instrument like flute after 1 -2 year...

It depends up on the student's interest and teacher's capacity. If the girl is very particular to learn flute let her try blowing in a small flute. If sound comes then u can start. No harm in it. Best of luck .
