Btech is a 4 year graduation degree, for which u have to clear 12th with PCM and min 60% marks. engineering diploma is nt a degree , its 2 year course its also called ITI or polytechnic.

B tech is a 4-year course one does after 12th, whereas engineering diploma is a 2-year course one can do after 10th or 12th. Along with that, one can also pursue engineering after diploma. In that case, the student gets direct admission in second year of engineering.

B.tech is 4 year degree after 12th and the diploma is 3 year course after 10 after that u can take admission in b.tech directly in 2 year

B.tech takes the subjects of engg. Diploma to a higher level of studies ,as it is a graduation degree it involves some new subjects

B.tech is a course after 10+2 & is graduation while Diploma is after 10 & is not providing graduation
