Electronic drums kits are designed to replicate the feel of an acoustic kit, but with far more flexibility.

Electric Drum is more for practice pads and you can control volume while acoustic drum is louder and it needs proper sound proofing specially if you live in urban places. However if we do compare sound quality Acoustic has more impact and depth sound than Electric.
