Again, using ASP.NET you can rapidly create web application. In ASP.NET you will learn C# also which helps in lots of different functionality and feature of .NET. In PHP you can only create web but by learning and go with .NET you can also upgrade yourself for web application, windows forms application, WCF, WPF, Silverlight, Windows Store Application. read less
