I came to Yoga for self development but as I progressed through my first training Yoga taught me discipline, self-control, made me physically and mentally strong and my teachers and community inspired me to continue on this journey of self expression in the form of Yoga. I teach Vinayasa Flow / Power style classes with a lot of focus on breath and movement of the body through creative flow and music, also giving students ample space to experience their own body with verbal cuing, and active visual and hands on adjustments.
I practice Ashtanga Yoga (Mysore Style) and my classes are influenced by my practice. I teach what I practice Yoga is not just an asana practice, it is a lifestyle and with its philosophy according to me a person can live a well balanced life...but again in order to do that you need to practice asanas as they prepare and strengthen your mind and body.
