If you are a guitarist and passionate for singing. Don't go for Carnatic as it doesn't go with the guitar so that you can go for Indian and in western you can go to the country, pop, jazz etc. I would suggest going for Indian film music.. it goes best with the guitar as you can do variations while singing but some English songs like Michael Buble, Jason Mraz, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars etc. Also could be played on guitar while singing and they sound pretty good
